Chelsea & Zak’s wedding

I’ve known Chelsea for nearly 20 years, so it was an honor for me to be invited to her marriage to Zak. I have to say that there’s a lot more internal pressure to shoot a wedding for someone you know and care about! We kept everything simple; the wedding took place in their back yard at their beautiful home in Rancho Mirage, California. Due to daytime temperatures in the 100’s, we started the ceremony at 9:00 AM.

I really loved the energy between Chelsea & Zak, the emotions displayed, and their vows absolutely brought tears to everyones’ eyes! This is one event that I will never forget, and I am very happy and honored that I got to be a part of it.

Hurricane Omar

Since when do hurricanes go from West to East in this part of the world? Hurricane Omar is here, about to make for a long night. The last hurricane known to go from West to East at this Latitude/Longitude was Hurricane Lenny in 1999.

It’s currently at 16.6 N, 65.2 W, with 105mph winds, moving NE at 17 mph.

BlackBerry Bold ‘unboxing’ and First Impressions

I finally got my hands on a BlackBerry Bold today, courtesy of bMobile. The screen is amazing, the resolution is gorgeous, it is slim and sleek, and it?s easy to type on! Within minutes, I was able to hook it up to Wi-Fi, browse the web at amazing speeds (compared to my BlackBerry 8700 over EDGE), connect a Bluetooth headset, take photos, and check email. Wow! I want to play with GPS and some other features, but it?s an excellent device so far.
